A Moment With Brad: He Needs those Cookies

July 19, 2013

In my experience there are three kinds of Chinese restaurants. The hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, the place is tiny, hardly has any seating, but most people don't eat there, they just get their food and leave. The Chinese Buffet, this is much like the hole in the wall one, yet people tend to eat there due to the buffet. Then there is the fancier Chinese restaurant, the one that somehow is always packed. The fact that these typically come with a full service bar, may or may not have something to do with that, but I digress. I said all of that so I could say this. I have gone of many a Chinese restaurant and one thing remains constant between all of them. If you eat at the restaurant you only get one fortune cookie, but if you get take out or delivery you get like six. So in my best Jerry Seinfeld impression I have to ask, "What's the deal with that?"
