Return To The Status Quo

June 14, 2010

Nothing really to say about the content of today's comic, but I would like to take the opportunity to talk about part of my process of making the comics, seeing as how today's is a good example.

Today's comic is one of those rare occasions where when I sit down to script a comic, and I find it easily can be split into two parts. This is nice because oftentimes it makes my job much easier as I have to come up with one less idea for a comic, and sometimes having a good original idea at that time can be hard.

Also, you may have noticed that I'm trying to keep away from longer comics and trying to contain each day's comic into a 2x2 panel frame, but that isn't to say any comic that ends up being scripted longer than a 2x2 frame is going to be split. This is a comedic comic after all, so each daily comic should be funny on it's own, right? Not that I'm saying every comic is going to be laugh-out-loud hilarious, cause God knows that's not going to ever be possible. But every posted comic should have some semblance of a joke in there somewhere.

So here's to you guys hopefully finding today's comic mildly, entertaining at least for a moment.
