It is the summertime, thus it is hot, and while at the moment it's not as hot as it has been, but it's still relatively hot, but I digress. I'm an adult, technically, and as an adult I make the choice that while I am alone in my home, and it's hot as hell, pants are an option. Why wear pants? I'm not going out. Boxers still cover my naughty bits, pants, even short pants are just more clothes. Why wear pants?
