Winter is over, maybe, I don't know. It'll be back, winter always comes back when you least expect it. You're just minding you business, it's in the sixties, then BAM! Blizzard in the first week of April. It happened last year, but I digress. To combat the ice and snow on the sidewalks, walkways, and courtyards in our apartment building they use sand, a lot of sand, and now that everything is thoroughly melted the sand remains.
