Spider-Man: Homecoming, I liked it. It was simple, but it didn't need to be anything else. It was refreshing to see a more down to earth superhero movie where the stakes don't necessarily need to be life or death for the fate of the entire world and/or universe. Also thank God they didn't kill Uncle Ben, or even mention Uncle Ben. At this time I can say with all certainty, we don't need to see Spider-Man's origin, we know why Spider-Man is Spider-Man. It's part of the shared cultural unconscious, it's encoded in our DNA, we are born knowing that with great power comes great responsability. This goes doubly for Batman. We get it, he has Daddy issues!
