Summer Shenanigans Storyline: An Aptly Named Heel

Another day, another drill. I don't think Gwen fully thought out the consequences of her actions, but Danny did.

On a side note, about two and a half years ago the vision in my left eye became dimmer and cloudy. After seeing a specialist I found out I had a cataract not only in my left, eye, but one in my right as well. Over the course of two years trying to find a surgeon who would do the extra complicated procedure of removing cataracts from someone who also has glaucoma, and whose pupils are literally pinpricks my left eye became functionally blind, and from time to time the cataract in the right eye would drift and fully obscure the vision of my right eye. This January I got the cataract removed from my left eye. My .5 millimeter pupil is now 4.5 millimeter pupil. This both caused me to see colors in a way I've never seen colors before. Everything was so much more vibrant and saturated. It also made me fully realize how much the cataract was effecting my right eye.

At the end of March I had the cataract removed from my right eye. My .5 millimeter pupil is now 3.5 millimeters. Colors for the right eye also became so much more vibrant and saturated, but slightly dimmer than what the left eye sees. Over time my pupils will shrink, but never get to the size they were, and as they get smaller, the amount of light they let in will decrease, and colors will become a little dimmer. Then last week I got a new laptop, which of course has a new screen.

I said all of that so I could say this. It would be nice if I could go for at least a month without having to fully relearn the entire concept of color. Long story short, if you notice more colors in these comics changing, now you know why.
