This storyline, this storyline. It’s a farce at this point. I can no longer in good faith refer to it as “Summertime Shenanigans Storyline” as it is no longer summertime. Also the fact that the summer that time referred to was 2019. It’s been a rough couple of years. Between six eye surgeries, with each one changing the scope of my vision, to needing glasses to do functions I was able to do unaided before, chief among them using a computer, which is really critical to making a webcomic apparently. Who knew? Then there’s the unending dick punch that is 2020. Long story short, blind, depressed, and the world’s collective existential dread self actualizing as a highly contagious deadly virus has really put me in a state not really attuned to making anything productive really.
But I still have more stories I want to tell, and in order to do that I need to finish this story. So for the next few weeks I’ll be publishing more comics than I have in the last two years. Why? Because 1. I have a backlog of comics now, and 2. The finale of this storyline, even though it was supposed to have ended in August 2019, has a real world time sensitive endpoint. At least I hope it does. God I hope it does.
