One thing we learned over the pandemic lockdown periods is that a fuck ton of office jobs can easily be done at home, and in fact many people working from home were more efficient with their time than when they were in the office. Strange how there's such a strong push to get everyone back into the office. If anything about the American work culture changes from all of this I hope it's offices allowing their workers to work from home every so often, so long as it doesn't impede their output. It's like a personal day, but they still get their work done. It's an obvious win/win for the company, and the worker, so long as the workers are still allowed to true personal days, and not be expected to still do a full day's work.
But you know who’s never done a full day’s work? Our puppy. He’s such a bum! All day everyday he just sits there expecting food AND bellyrubs, fuck that, you get a job.
