Well Microsoft's Kinect, the overpriced answer to Sony's Move, which in itself is their even more overpriced answer to Nintendo's Wii is out, and it has a little flaw. Apparently the way the camera works is the camera views and maps your movement contrasted against the background. Since it see's contrast, obviously the more light you have on, the more contrast you'll have. Here lies the problem. To be frank in dimly lit rooms White people just provide more contrast, while people with dark skin aren't giving the camera enough contrast to work in dim light.
Now as I say in the comic, I can't really make a comic about this cause I don't have any black characters. Now it's not my fault, I grew up in a small town in New England, there just weren't any black people to befriend. My school had a few kids from Indian families, one of whom was a good friend of mine. I'd have to say our school was probably around 95% white. Even after going to college I've can count the number black people I've meet on one hand. Sadly I'll likely never have a Black best friend like J.D. from Scrubs.
Also, 12 days and counting it returns.
