Fifth Zelda comic go!
In Zelda games, Link is always upgrading his gear, you start with a blue candle, replace it with the red candle. Toss that normal boomerang in the trash, you got a Magical Boomerang now! And of course that sword you're holding now is gonna be replaced at least once by the end of the game. For the most part when you get an upgraded item the original item is tossed from your inventory, without a second thought, but what if this certain item was a heartfully handcrafted keepsake made especially for you by a charished childhood friend. Surely Link wouldn't be callous enough to toss something like that away? Right?
