So yeah, it's no secret I love me some Assassin's Creed, both the story and the gameplay, however I just don't understand why there is so much more focus on Ezio over Altaïr? To me Altaïr is just a much more interesting character. He's mysterious, we don't know much about him, only that he's a bas ass motherfucker that takes no shit from anyone. Ezio however, really has no mystery to him. We know literally everything about Ezio, since we've been playing him for the majority of his life. We know what motivates and drives him, revenge. Granted over the last two games he's matured as a character, outgrowing his original motivations.
Still one can make a strong arguement that even though Ezio has had the spotlight more often than not Altaïr is a much more important character. Here comes some spoilers! Even Desmond has a bigger role to play than Ezio, the image of Minerva in the vault at the Vatican pretty much says so when she completely ignores Ezio and instead speaks directly to Desmond. Ezio's for the most part exists only to make a link between Altaïr and Desmond.
I suppose we'll find more out next month when Revelations comes out next month, and you can expect a couple of comics about it. I have a reputation to keep up after all.
