Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and/or other seasonally appropriate holiday. Today's comic marks the introduction of Danny's extended family. His brother, sister in law and niece. Tony, Bobbi, and Lucy respectively. Took me a while to pick the names for them. I brainstormed with my Mom the other day and we picked names for everyone. My brother's character analogue's name was the easiest, Tony, or Anthony, which was our Grandfather's name. Lucy was my mother's idea, as that's one of the nicknames my brother has for his daughter. Lucy, short for Lucifer. You know since she brings light into his life, ... ... ... but mostly because she's the devil. The sister in law was going to be Sally, but due to recent activities I changed her name to Bobbi. Her real world counterpart knows why, and that's all that really matters.
My Mom also picked names for Danny's Hot Mom and Danny's Awesome Dad. I wanted them to have Italian sounding names so she picked Nicoletta for Danny's Hot Mom, which I find ironic, seeing as my Mother's real name is Colette, and she hate's it. She picked Dominic for Danny's Awesome Dad, which is also funny since I almost Named Danny, Dominic before I made the comic. He'd have been called Nico though. I also find it interesting how the two names she picked flow so easily together to form a pseudo Hollywood couple-esque name, Dominicolleta.
Anywho, there is a little bit of truth in this comic. I did get a purple stuffed elephant for my niece, but she doesn't already have one. However a doll that my Mother got her my Brother got her one also. So yeah, there's a little truth in it.
