Didn't They Already Remake Total Recall? I Think They Called it The Matrix.

Today's comic's is another example of the comic pretty much saying everything I'd want to say in the blog post. Remake movies are, have and shall continue to happen. Some are good, True Grit comes to mind. Some are bad, 1998's Psycho, really most horror remakes actually. Some take the source material and turn it into something complete unique, in a sense becoming their own film. 1986's The Fly is a good example of that. Some are so well done they completely overshadow the original, like Scarface, yeah, that's a remake. Then there are some films that are so cherished that you can't believe they would think of remaking them. To this day I refuse to watch the Johnny Depp version of Willy Wonka. Then there are just a couple movies that get remade and I just don't know why, case and point, today's comic.
