Today starts my least favorite part of the year. While this is a gaming comic I am a huge sports fan, and today begins the period of the year with both no football or baseball, but I shall persevere!
Of course last night was the Super Bowl, the final game of the football season, and quite possibly the most taxing four hours of the year for my bladder. Don't wanna miss a minute of the game, nor do I want to miss those wacky wacky Super Bowl commercials, and along with the commercials come teaser trailers for all the blockbusters coming this summer, and boy am I going to be seeing a bunch of movies. It is a good year the be a nerd, Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cowboys and Aliens, Thor, Captain America, and even though it didn't have a commercial last night, Green Lantern. God damn that's a lot of movies!
But I'm not here to talk about any of those, I'm gonna talk about the one movie from last night I have no plans to see, EVER! Fast Five. What's Fast Five? Apparently it's the fifth movie in The Fast and the Furious series of movies, the series of movies that apparently have their titles picked by a committee of five year olds. The Fast and The Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast and Furious and now Fast Five. Make up your mind damnit! Are these movies connected or not? If you have no knowledge of these films how would you know what order to watch them in? Why is Hollywood so retarded when it comes to sequel titles?!
