It's that time of the year again, yesterday being Mother's Day, here is the obligitory Danny's Hot Mom comic. My Mom recently got a new job, and in order to get the job she had to pass a Windows literacy test. Now My Mom isn't the best with a computer, but she knows everything she'd need to in order to do her job, but this test she had to take was just, dumb.

First of all the test says that you had to take in alone and with no help, but she also took it at home and online, so the first thing she did was call me to give her any answers she didn't know, and there were a few she didn't. Secondly the test said that each question had multiple ways to solve it, which is true, there are multiple ways to do pretty much any task on a computer. However the test DIDN'T SAY that is wanted a certain way of doing everything in order to get credit on your answer. According to the test correct way to open the help menu was to open it with the drop down menu on the top bar of the window, while pressing F1, the command that has opened the help menu since the dawn of time.

In the end she scored 65%, but needed 85% to get the job, So she called her friend at the office there and told her what happened, too which she was told, everyone working at the office failed the test as well, which even lead to me finding it more perposterous that passing it was a requirement of getting the job. So she just went to the office and took the test in her friend's office and gave the test all the answers it wanted.

The whole test is actually kind of ridiculous, seeing as everything on the test you could teach a child to do in half an hour, and most of the questions have nothing to do with working in an office. So today's comic is about what working in that office would be like if the answers on the test were of the upmost importance.
