Well just like in the game we’re finally at the part that everyone is looking forward to. Link is now an adult. Yes when Link drew the Master Sword back when he was a child he was too young to fulfill the prophecy, or some nonsense, so he was sealed within the chamber of Sages until he became the proper age. All well and good, but there are a few minor details that beg a little questioning.
One, where’d they get the adult sized clothes for Link? Not like there’s a marketplace within the void that is the Sage’s Temple. Now I can understand that Link couldn’t be naked or anything, this is an E for Everyone game after all, though it would bolster Link’s female fan base, on second thought he still isn’t wearing any pants, but I digress.
No the thing I find most odd about what happened to Link during his seven year nap was that his ears got pierced. Think about it. One second, you’re a nine year old, next think you know you’re an adult, you find out that you’ve been asleep for seven years all the time being watched over by a creepy old guy and a faerie, and for some reason both your ears are pierced. All I have to say is Link’s probably lucky that’s the only thing that got pierced.
On a side note, I wasn't being lazy with Rauru, not drawing his hands and all. Every in game model and official artwork of him I could find all show him with long puffy sleeves with now visable hands. He might not have hands. Which would make Links new clothes and pierced ears that much more confusingly mysterious.
