So Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the 3DS is an awesome game. I can't speakk of the 3D quality of course, but it is a huge graphical upgrade from the original. The one thing that is kind of weird is the control setup. The Nintendo 64 has a rather odd controller and no modern controller is even remotely close to it's set up. In the original game there were six face buttons availible, one was for the sword, another was for special actions, one for talking with Navi, and the last three were for items. The 3DS only has four face buttons, so a few changes had to be made. Sword, special actions and two items have the face buttons, while the touch screen has an additional two touch buttons for items on the right side, while a botton for Navi is on the left had side. The Ocarina also has it's own special touch button on the left hand side, which is kind of nice since I always had the ocarina set to one of the item face buttons in the old days on the N64. The only real gripe I have with the game is the button to talk to Navi. Annoying as she is, she does have a few good things to say, especially during battle when she can talk you and enemy's weakness. But the touch screen button for her is a bit out of the way to hit while your using the thumbstick to move. The D-pad however has no actions bound to it at all, so it makes me wonder why speaking to Navi couldn't have been bound to that instead.
