This Time They're Eating More than Just Balls.

So let me elaborate, my main problem with the Battleship movie is the story. Battleship the boardgame has no story, Battleship the Movie has a story about a young up and coming officer, his commanding officer, and his daughter, who just so happens to be in a relationship with previous mentioned up and coming young officer. Hyjynx are sure to ensue!

The trailer also mentions in passing a naval training games, and I thought to myself, naval training games, that might actually work, it would be like the navy version of Top Gun. Okay movie, I'm gack on board. The it happened. Aliens, fucking aliens. Why aliens? who knows maybe it iisn't aliens, but like a super secret Russian or Chinese weapon gone rogue, however I just don't give a shit enough to actaully find out. at least until maybe it comes out on Netflix, but only if it's streamable, not wasting a DVD on that.

As for the comic, here;s my take at adapting a board game into a movie, and by adapting I mean forcing a blad played out story to an intellectual proberty that never had, nor eever needed a story.
