This comic doesn't really need too much explanation. The ChristmaChanuKwaansaka season is big for the games industry. Gamer's need presents after all. This actually puzzles me a bit. As games are being geared more and more towards adults, who can for the most part buy a game with their own money whenever they want, why is there still such a need to release all these big name games around the holidays? Holiday presents carter more towards kids, who generally don't have the means to buy games and really only get such things for birthdays, or ChristmaChanuKwaansaka. But let's face it, I'm an adult, I have my own money. If I wanna buy a game I'm gonna buy it myself and play it now! That's why I tend to have a few games I feel I can wait a few weeks to play.
On a side note the Chipmunks game is an actual game, I needed to find a punchline, and a third rate licensed shovelware Kinect game with a stupid premise seemed to fit the bill.
