Books, they are dying. in an age of ever growing technology, printed media is slowly losing it's place. More and more magazines are shutting down, or moving to an online format. Newspapers just can't compete with the 24 hour news networks, and now The Encyclopedia Britainnica, the de facto English language source of knowledge has printed it's last run of books, choosing to shift all their attention to the online version. I have to say, it makes sense. An encyclopedia is supposed to be the bottom line referense for all that is. Problem is, new shit keep happening, new ideas come up that can totally alter what we once thought of as fact. It only makes sense that something like this be stored on the internet, so it can be changed as soon as the new shit I mentioned before happens.
