If Only Those Waiting Lists Went By Need.

So the Wii U finally has a release date. November 18th, suck it rest of the world, we get it first! I kind of find it odd that the last market to get it is actually Japan, not until December 8th. Perhaps they did it that way because America loves buying stuff, and November 18th probably give them a big enough window to ship two, maybe three production runs before Christmas, but I digress.

I remember a long, long time ago back in the year 2006 Real World Brad and I were eagerly awaiting the Wii. The stores around us had stopped accepting pre-orders and were only going to have a few dozen to go around, and we lived in a college town, two dozen was not going to be enough. Needless to say we were shit out of luck. In the following weeks it was a series of unsuccessful trips to Gamestop, Best Buy, Wal Mart and Target. They just couldn't keep them on the shelves, and for what ever reason none of the stores were taking reservations, really they couldn't the demand was far outweighing the supply. I really was about six months after launch until I finally got my Wii, don't think the same thing is going to happen this time around, but I'm not going to risk it. I needs to play my Mario!

On a side note the At Least Like Us on Facebook Campaign! is still a thing, so yeah, if you haven't done yet perhaps you could like us on facebook. I'll be your friend.
