As you may or may not be aware my dear friend Confess and I have a bit of a friendly rivalry over which Priest healing spec is the best. In the end both Holy and Discipline have their ups and downs, however when patch 4.0.1 came out Discipline got a specific ability that made it not exactly a better healing spec, but at least one that made it a whole lot cooler looking.
For weeks Disc Priests lorded over Holy Priests with their Archangel wings. Well the joke's on them! Now that Cataclysm is out and the level cap has been raised by 5 Holy Priests can now use the Archangel ability, and what more Discipline Priests can't possibly by able to use Chakra, or Guardian Spirit. So yeah, Holy Priests can not only have a bad ass glowing aura of light around them, but they can have not one, but two set of wings! However the Guardian Spirit wings are still retarded and always face the camera straight on instead of moving with you like the Archangel wings do, but hey that's fine, who has two sets of sexy shiny sparkly angel wings? Me that's who!
